Our client representatives are ready to give your customs
needs their personal attention, and are supported by tariff
experts and technical specialists capable of handling the
most complex customs issues. Our consulting division can provide
you with an intimate knowledge of customs policies and regulations
affecting international trade.
Our brokerage, logistics and accounting applications are
run on IBM's AS/400 computer system, which has the power and
flexibility to process information swiftly between Cole
offices as well as between us, our clients, and agents. Our
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) allows us to establish information
partnerships relative to all aspects of your imports including
invoicing, entry information, shipment status, and electronic
payments.
Also, where applicable, we can furnish our clients with
an Electronic Data Access (EDA) link-up with remote dial-in
capabilities via their personal computer. As a "customer driven"
tool, the EDA interface may include any combination of:
- Initial release (RMD) and entry data (B3) reports;
- Invoices and statements;
- Tariff base/parts information;
- Release notifications;
- Exchange rates.
From this mass of information, printed logistics reports are
configured to suit the individual needs of each client.
